WILLIAMS COLLEGE
Environmental Studies majors at Williams College are required to take an experiential class in which they conduct environmental planning projects for clients in the community. The course, Environmental Planning Workshop, assigns student teams to clients who seek assistance with particular projects. This team of four students worked under the guidance of Mike Canales and Linda Cernik to conduct an analysis of whether the City of North Adams should join the Northern Berkshire Solid Waste Management District.
